Hello again, and thank you for your patience.
We are shooting a memorial service for CORP TOM WALKER. As you can imagine, a military service like this would be very traditional and conservative.
It is Spring in our story. It is warm but not sleeveless warm.
We want a color story that is relatively monochromatic. Mostly blacks and greys, as you would expect to see at a funeral. We want everyone to look their best, and if your best is a dark green or burgundy or navy, then please bring that along with your blacks and greys as options.
Everyone should come dressed in your first choice and bring the other options with you. This will save us all a great deal of time.
We respectfully ask that we don't wear any brightly colored clothing, any overly large patterns or prints, and no large hats. Smaller hats might work, but please do not wear them in and mess up your hair. We will look at them once you arrive and make the decision.
Men should wear dark suits or dark sports coats and slacks. We would prefer that you wear lighter colored shirts like white, cream, tan, pale grey or blue. The ties should be darker and not too busy. Don't forget your belt and shoes. Please bring several choices along with what you wear.
Women should wear dark dresses, skirt suits, pant suits, blouses and skirts. If you are wearing a suit, make sure to bring the appropriate blouse choices in dark and light tones, but nothing too colorful. Whites, creams, tans, grey,etc. Bring appropriate shoes and handbags with you for the clothing choices that you are bringing. Jewelry should be small, simple and understated. Please bring choices along with what you wear in.
Young men and boys should wear dark suits and sport coats, if they have them. Shirts and ties to complete this look. If you do not have a suit or sport coat, the please bring shirt and tie,
sweater vests, light weight pullover sweaters, etc. Please bring your dress shoes for you outfit.

Young women and girls should wear dresses that are appropriate for a funeral. I realize that not many little girls have black dresses, but please choose accordingly staying with darker colors if you have them. Nothing too bright or cheery or summery. Please bring the appropriate shoes for your dresses. Please bring choices along with what you wear in.
Remember, this is a military memorial service and all is very somber. I am sure that everyone will bring all the right things and I want to say thanks in advance for doing just that. We are looking forward to meeting all of you.
