PRE FITS FOR PARTY ON TUESDAY, 6TH

Hello everyone. Following you will find the specifics that we would like for the party scene that will be shot on Monday, 12th. We would like you to come by the Costume Dept on Tuesday, 6th, either between the hours of 11:00 and 2:00 or between the hours of 4:00 and 6:30. We are hoping that these lunchtime and after work hours will help accomodate your schedules and make it possible for everyone to be here. If you have not been to the Costume Dept, it is located at:
6935 Reames Rd
Charlotte, NC 28216
704-921-7551 Production Office Phone

We really want to be able to see what you have before the day of since this wardrobe is so specific. Your coming by on the 6th lets us know what colors and styles we are working with and might help us dictate what our principles wear. Please bring choices of the following when you come by the Costume Dept on Tuesday, 6th.

MEN The look here is one of Politicians and Lawyers, Powerbrokers and Lobbyists. Washington DC movers and shakers. The look is conservative and traditional. This party is a meeting of the elite and you should look the part. Men should all bring options fo dark business suits in Black, Navy, Charcoal Grey, etc. Subtle texture and striping will be fine, but nothing that is too obvious with bold pinstripes or other textures. Elegance is what we are after. You should bring white and cream colored solid shirts. Ties are the "make or break" piece of the ensemble. Bring your most sophisticated, most beautiful ties. As a rule the Varsity Stripe Tie is more of a school boy, less formal look. This is because there is usually a lot of blod contrast between the colors in this style of tie. Stripes are good; just keep the contrast in colors to a more subtle level. Other good choices will be patterns sjuch as paisley, medallions, crests, etc. An overly busy tie can look less expensive, so if in doubt, err toward the simpler side. Don't forget your dress shoes and dress belt to complete you look.

WOMEN Society ladies that really run the town. Politician and Lawyer wives. Matrons of the town that they own. Sophistication is the catch word here. This is not a formal affair, so hem lines should hover around the knee. It is really more of a cocktail affair but will take place in the afternoon so a lot of beading and sequins might not be the right call. We are looking for a highly tailored, streamlined look, without a lot of extra detailing. Some is fine, just nothing to overly embellished. Silks, satins, crepe de chin and other fabrics that yo think of for party wear. Sheath dresses that come with a matching jacket. A beautifully tailored shirt with a stunning long sleeve silk blouse. Even the right pair of tuxedo trousers, paired with a silk tank and jacket. These are all just suggestions to give you the right direction and to get you thinking.
NOTE: If you do choose to bring trouser options, please also bring dress and skirt options as well.
We would prefer that you not bring all black. It is a party in the Late Spring/Summer. Pale blues and pinks, soft yellows, greens and creams, taupe, grey. Even some subtle metallic would be nice. Copper, gold and silver fabrics or subtle embellishments. We would also prefer that your choices be mostly solid in color with little to no print. This will help establish the sleek, more sophisticated backdrop against which our principles will play. Bring your nicest and most glamorous jewelry to complete the look. Remember, it is Washington DC and, Republican or Democrat, the look is conservative and traditional, but we want the elegance factor as well. Don't forget your shoes for your choices and a small party/cocktail bag.

We are looking forward to seeing you all sometime on Tuesday, 6th with your fancy duds in hand. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!!

FRIDAY 8/26

Another week, almost over. Thanks everyone for a good, but busy, week.

Tomorrow we are at the church, then some of you will move on the School Function and then the Diner. You should be told if you will be working in multiple scenes. Everyone being asked to work in multiple scenes should bring several options of all the things that I ask so there are enough choices to work in all the different scenes.

I will list all the categories below and what we would like for them. Please read them all so that you understand all the different kinds of things we would like for you to bring. There are a couple of exceptions to this and I will indicate.

PASTOR Should bring a dark suit, shirt choices in light colors and dark, subtle ties. Don't forget your shoes and belt. If you are being asked to work in another scene, please read on for that info.

CHURCH GOERS AND CHILDREN CHURCH GOERS we are shooting late Spring in our show, so please keep that in mind while choosing your "church clothes." The color palette is one of Spring and more subdued than all the bright summer colors. Softer colors are best. Light blue, pale green, soft yellow, lavender, grey, tan, cream, etc. Suits and sport coats and slacks would be best in med to darker tones.

The goal is to see everyone as a whole, not to notice too much the individual. No big hats or other items of bright color or busy patterns that will draw the eye. Please wear in your first, best choice and bring options with you. Please bring a mix of things from very dressy to less dressy.

CHURCH CHILDREN should all be dressed nicely for church. Make sure to include dress choices for the girls and suit, jacket/sport coat or sweater vests for the boys. Whatever you have for the children that makes them feel and look "dressed up." Don't forget the shoes that go with them

FUNDRAISER PARENTS This look is a mix of nice casual and after work business dress. This is less a formal fundraiser and more of a teacher/parent meeting, school open house or PTA meeting. Some parents would have come straight from the office and others from home but are all dressing to put their best foot forward for the teachers. Please bring options of all of the following:
Business suits and sport coats, shirts and ties
Slacks and skirts
dresses
Nice casual button front shirts and blouses to be worn without a jacket
cardigan sweaters and light weight jackets
Pullover shirt/blouses and sweaters
Don't forget the appropriate shoes and belts and accessories for your clothing choices

MEMPHIS DINER PATRONS Should bring choices of casual clothing to include jeans, khakis, cargo pants, long and short sleeve casual shirts/blouses, light weight jackets, cardigan and pullover sweaters, polo type shirts. Please bring the appropriate shoes, belts and other accessories for your clothing choices.

WAITRESSES As I understand, you gals actually work at this Diner! Please bring me several choices of the actual things that you wear to work. Please also bring your work aprons, if you wear them. We are not allowed to film obvious logos, so please bring items that are logo free.
Bring your personality too, and bring some of the jewelry and other accessories that you might wear at work.

FBI ESCORTS should be in the same costume that you have been wearing in the car for the driving sequences and the WV Police Station, shot on Wed and Thurs of this week.

Thanks again for a great week and for helping us make the show look good. We couldn't do it without you!!
See you on the set!

TUESDAY 8/23 POOL HALL

Hello everyone. Welcome to HOMELAND if you are joining us for the first time. Welcome back if you have worked with us before.

We are shooting a POOL HALL scene tomorrow and we will have some characters. As you continue to read you will see that I try to address each character or group of characters. The main thing to remember is to bring lots of options. If you think it might work, throw it in. Don't decide for yourself what you might wear, that's what we're here for. There are lots of you and we want to make sure that everyone looks fantastic.

We are shooting Spring/Summer in our story so clothing that you would be wearing now will work.

BIKER AND BIKER CHIC I am assuming that if you are bringing your own bike that means you probably also have the biker gear. Please bring several options of
leathers and denim
tees, boots, belts and caps
Be aware that we cannot use things that have obvious logos, which will most likely be Harley Davidson. Logos on a tee can be "hidden" with a vest, for example, that's why the layered look will probably serve us well for you guys. Again, the more we have to work with the better we can make it look.

SKINHEAD FRIENDS OF RUSS will be looking rough and leaning toward the skinhead look, but not entirely so. It's a fine line. Read the list below and bring as much of the following that you have:
dark cargo pants
military style boots, dark sneakers or doc martin boots
jeans, both ripped and non-ripped
dark tees, could be sleeveless
white tees
ribbed A shirts (also known as wife beaters)
denim jackets and vests and shirts
flannel plaid shirts and other plaids
leather belts
Also bring any accessories like chain wallets, bike chain jewelry, etc. Menacing is the best word for you guys.

WAITRESS should bring several choices to include
tight jeans and jean shorts
other shorts and skirts
sexy/slutty tees
halter tops, tube tops, etc
bring shoes that you can walk in but look sexy, but also bring a pair of more sensible shoes like dark sneakers.
bring your big gawdy jewelry

BARTENDER should bring options to include
jeans
dark tees, no obvious logos, please
sleeveless tees
flannel plaid shirts, could be sleeveless
denim shirts
trucker caps, no obvious logos
boots, work boots or otherwise, and dark sneakers

CRUSTY BARFLYS will be a lot of fun. All very much character clothes. Vintage/thrift store look is good. Lots of quirky layers.
old button front shirts and blouses (a vintage flair would be nice)
pullover shirts and sweaters
vests
odd ties and jewelry (bolo tie springs to mind)
jeans and slacks and skirts
Polyester pant suits
light weight jackets and sweaters (think Members Only style)
shoes, belts and jewelry and accessories to complete this look

WORKING CLASS MECHANIC TYPES is a look of the everyday working man. Men that came in for a beer after getting off a shift at the garage or from working on a road crew, or something like that. If you have an old mechanics shirt, by all means bring that, otherwise please bring several options to include the following:
jeans, both ripped and non-ripped
work pants or khakis, like Dickies work pants
tees, both colored, grey and white
short and long sleeve button front shirts, like Dickies work shirt
denim shirts, long and short sleeve
work boots and leather belts
trucker/baseball caps, without obvious logos

FBI AGENTS should bring options to include the following:
Business suit and shirts and ties
sport coats and slacks
pullover shirts and sweaters
long and short sleeve casual shirts
khakis, jeans, slacks and skirts
appropriate shoe choices for your clothing choices

I'm sure you will all bring great things and we look forward to seeing you in the morning and having fun getting you all ready. Thanks in advance for all your help!!
See you on the set!

MONDAY 8/22 FLIGHT PATH HOUSE

Hey everyone, hope you've had a great weekend!

On Monday we'll be shooting a scene where we are "storming the castle." The scene is one of CIA & FBI activity in the discovery of a house that was used by the bad guys. Everyone should read the following list and bring some of everything so that we have the choice to make some folks, official looking, undercover, etc. There will be neighbors and kids and I will address you guys separately.

EVERYONE PLAYING SUITS, CIA FORENSICS, FBI FORENSICS should bring several choices of options to include the following. These choices should be neutral to dark in color. Tan, grey, navy, dk green, burgundy, some black, etc.

business suits and shirts and ties, preferably dark in color
sport coats and blazers that could be worn with either dress slacks or jeans
slacks, skirts, khakis, cargos and jeans
long and short sleeve casual button front shirts and blouses
light weight jackets and hoodies

COP will be provided a uniform by the costume dept. Please do not be late as we will have to fit you and this can take a few minutes. Thanks

NEIGHBORS AND KIDS should bring several choices of Spring time, casual clothing that you would wear around the house and in the yard. All that is happening in the scene is a surprise to you. We'd like your clothing to be a bit more colorful than the dark clothing that we are requesting for the CIA and FBI. But please, nothing too bright or summery, or with too bold a pattern. Spring colors and subtle patterns are good. Softer colors like light blue, pale yellow, lavender, etc. This will make a nice distinction between the two groups of people. You might want to throw in some things that you might do yard work in. Caps and hats with no logos would be great too. Kids, also bring along a skateboard or something that you might be doing outside, MP3 Players and headphones, etc. Following are the kinds of things we would like you to bring:

Long and short sleeve casual button front shirts and blouses
Long and short sleeve tees, no logos please
khakis, jeans, cargos
casual dresses and skirts
appropriate shoes and belts
light weight sweaters and hoodies

As always, thanks for all the great things that I know you will be bringing. We look forward to seeing those who have worked with us before and to meeting those of you who have not.
See you on the set!!

FRIDAY 8/19 CIA HEADQUARTERS

Hello all. Same song, second verse. We are back at the CIA again tomorrow.

For all of you that worked on Thursday, 8/18, you will be repeating the change that you wore in the CIA. That was Day 1 in the script. We will be shooting Day 1 & Day 2 on Friday. You will have to match for Day 1 and we will choose a second change for Day 2 on Friday.

We are still in Spring in our story. The color palette should be one of softer colors, nothing too bright or summery. Texture and pattern are good, just nothing too bold or busy.

Below you will find the list of things that you should bring. There will be a couple of roles that I will put down individually, so please make sure that you read the whole blog.

Everyone should bring all of the following:
business suits
sport coats/blazers
dress shirts and blouses that work with suits
casual button front shirts and blouses, long and short sleeve
ties and scarves and other accessories
vests
sweaters, both pullover and cardigan
khakis, slacks and skirts and jeans
hoodies and pullover casual shirts

CIA SECURITY GUARD should bring choices of dark suits, dress shirts in lighter colors like cream, tan, light grey, light blue, etc. Several choices of ties. You too will be dressed for two different days so we need to be able to pull two days from what you bring. Don't forget the appropriate shoes and your belt.

YOUNG CIA ESCORTS should bring choices of dark suits and dress shirts in light colors like cream, tan, light grey, light blue, etc. Also sport coats and slacks, ties, shoes and belts.

THURSDAY 8/18 CIA HEADQUARTERS

Hello everyone. Going back to the CIA. If the following instructions sound familiar, it's because I typed them word for word from the last time. :-)

Also, we now have a dedicated BG area for you guys and we've had dressing rooms built and everything. We couldn't do it without you so we want to keep you coming. The BG Room is in the center of the building in the front, and you can access that via the outdoor sidewalk to the door mark BACKGROUND HOLDING.

GENERAL NOTE: Everyone, regardless of the the role that you are being told to play, should bring a range of clothing from casual to dressy. We are still in Spring, long and short sleeves are appropriate for the work place. light weight jackets and sweaters still work. Nothing too wintery at this point.
Color palette is one of Spring with the colors being softer and more muted and neutrals like tan, grey, etc. Try not to bring all black, please. Dark colors are fine for the office, but a lot of black starts to feel more like a bar. Some black mixed in is fine. Nothing too bright or summery and nothing with too busy a pattern. Small patterns and textures are good.

Following find all the things that I would like everyone to bring:

Business suits (FBI agents please bring dark suits)
Sport coats/blazers
dress shirts and blouses that work with suits
casual button front shirts and blouses, long and short sleeve
ties and scarves, other accessories
vests
sweaters, both pullover and cardigan
khakis, slacks and skirts and jeans
hoodies and pullover casual shirts

BAR PARKING LOT

Some of you will be working after the CIA in a scene in the Bar Parking lot. We will be able to pull your clothes from the casual changes that you bring from above. Please make sure that you have enough choices so that we can change you from the CIA to the Bar Parking Lot.

As always, thanks for working with us on HOMELAND. We appreciate the effort that you make to bring the things that we ask for. See you on the set!!

TUESDAY 8/16 THE PARK, CIA & BAR

Hi folks. We've got a large and varied day tomorrow. Please make sure that you read all of the information that might apply to you, as many of you may be playing is more than one location and scene.

JOGGING PATH/PLAYGROUND
We have a couple of things going on at the park. There will be some of the kids that will be playing in the sprinklers, some kids playing baseball catch and then the parents/grandparents of all these kids.

KIDS IN SPRINKLERS should bring choices of swimsuits, as well as choices of play clothing that is OK to get wet. We want the option to be able to put everyone in clothes or a swimsuit to play in the water. Everyone should bring shoes that can get wet. Swim shoes, sandals, crocs, etc. No flip flops as it might be easy to come out of them. We just don't want anyone running barefoot. It's a safety thing. Everything should be fun and colorful. No obvious logos or branding, like Spiderman or Dora the Explorer, but simple and plain kids clothes. Don't forget a towel and a bag to put your wet things in. Please bring enough clothes that you have something dry to wear home.

KIDS PLAYING BASEBALL CATCH should bring choices of play clothes to include jeans, shorts, tees, sneakers, caps. The clothing should be colorful. No logos or branding like Spiderman or Nike, etc. Just plain, simple clothing. It might be a good idea to also include a swimsuit and clothes and shoes that you could play in the sprinklers, just in case. Please bring your gloves and baseballs.

ADULTS should bring choices of spring time clothing that you would wear to the park. We are not quite to shorts and tank tops in our storyline. Options should include jeans, khakis, cargos, capris, polos, tee both long and short sleeve, long and short sleeve button front shirts and blouses. Sneakers, and sandals are good. No flip flops for camera, please. Color and pattern are good, just nothing too bright or busy. Keep the colors to springtime colors instead of the overly bright colors of summer. Please include caps and hats, sunglasses, etc. Please avoid obvious logos. Don't forget your handbags or backpacks, etc.

CIA PARKING LOT
Some of you from above may also be working in the CIA parking lot. All folks working in the CIA PARKING LOT should bring a mix of dressy business and business casual clothing so that we can mix and match the look for everyone. Colors should be muted and spring, not summer. Neutrals are good. Pattern and texture are fine provided they are subtle and not to bold or bright. Don't forget the appropriate shoes for all the clothing choices. Choices should include business suits
sport coats/blazers
slacks, skirts, khakis, jeans
button front shirts and blouses
vests
pullovers
light weight sweaters

BAR
Some of you from above may also be working as BAR patrons or workers. This is being played as a neighborhood bar. This means a mix of work/after work and casual wear. Please continue reading for instructions about this part of our day.

WAITRESSES/BARTENDERS please bring black tees and black pants and skirts. Tees can be long and short sleeve. Black shoes and belts. Small simple jewelry.

PATRONS should reference what I wrote for the CIA Parking Lot above. You should all bring options of dressy business to business casual and casual street clothing. Many of you will likely be working in both scenarios so that will take care of itself. If you are working only in the BAR please bring options of everything so that we can mix it up.

As always, thanks in advance for reading this and paying close attention to the needs of the show and for getting it right!! Everyone that has been working on the show has been doing a great job of bringing all the appropriate things. Keep it up!!
See you on the set!

MONDAY 8/15 TOM WALKER MEMORIAL BBQ

Hello everyone. Hope your weekend is great.

On Friday we shot TOM WALKER MEMORIAL. On Monday we will be shooting a gathering that takes place after the Memorial.

If you worked on Friday and were at the Memorial service, you should wear exactly the same thing that you wore on Friday. Same jewelry, same shoes, etc. It's what we call an exact match for a direct cut. If you were given a military uniform for the Memorial you will receive the same costume on Monday.

If you did not work on Friday, please read the following for information on what to bring. Remember, this is just after a Memorial service.

We want a color story that is relatively monochromatic. Mostly blacks and greys, as you would expect to see at a funeral. We want everyone to look their best, so if your best is a dark green or burgundy or navy, the please bring that along with your black and grey options.

Men should wear dark suits or dark sport coats and slacks. We would prefer that you wear lighter colored shirts like white, cream, tan, pale grey or light blue. The ties should be darker and not too busy. Don't forget your belt and shoes. Please bring several choices.

Women should wear dark dresses, dark skirt suits, pant suits, blouses and skirts. If you are wearing a suit or skirt, make sure to bring the appropriate blouse choices in dark and light tones, but nothing too colorful. Whites, creams, tans, greys, etc. Bring appropriate shoes and handbags with you for the clothing choices you bring. Jewelry should be small, simple and understated. Please bring choices.

Young men and boys should wear dark suits and sport coats, if they have them. Shirts and ties to complete this look. If you do not have a suit or sport coat, then please bring shirt and tie, sweater vests, light weight pullover sweaters, etc. Please bring dress shoes for your outfit.

Young women and girls should wear dresses and skirts and tops that are appropriate for a funeral. I realize that not many little girls have black dresses, but please choose accordingly, staying with darker colors if you have them. Nothing too bright or cheery or summery. Please bring appropriate shoes for your dresses or skirts and tops.

Remember, this is after a military memorial service and everything was very traditional and conservative. I am sure that everyone will bring all the right things and thanks in advance for that. We are looking forward to meeting all of you
See you on the set!!

FRIDAY, 8/12 TOM WALKER MEMORIAL

Hello again, and thank you for your patience.

We are shooting a memorial service for CORP TOM WALKER. As you can imagine, a military service like this would be very traditional and conservative.

It is Spring in our story. It is warm but not sleeveless warm.

We want a color story that is relatively monochromatic. Mostly blacks and greys, as you would expect to see at a funeral. We want everyone to look their best, and if your best is a dark green or burgundy or navy, then please bring that along with your blacks and greys as options.

Everyone should come dressed in your first choice and bring the other options with you. This will save us all a great deal of time.

We respectfully ask that we don't wear any brightly colored clothing, any overly large patterns or prints, and no large hats. Smaller hats might work, but please do not wear them in and mess up your hair. We will look at them once you arrive and make the decision.

Men should wear dark suits or dark sports coats and slacks. We would prefer that you wear lighter colored shirts like white, cream, tan, pale grey or blue. The ties should be darker and not too busy. Don't forget your belt and shoes. Please bring several choices along with what you wear.

Women should wear dark dresses, skirt suits, pant suits, blouses and skirts. If you are wearing a suit, make sure to bring the appropriate blouse choices in dark and light tones, but nothing too colorful. Whites, creams, tans, grey, etc. Bring appropriate shoes and handbags with you for the clothing choices that you are bringing. Jewelry should be small, simple and understated. Please bring choices along with what you wear in.

Young men and boys should wear dark suits and sport coats, if they have them. Shirts and ties to complete this look. If you do not have a suit or sport coat, the please bring shirt and tie,
sweater vests, light weight pullover sweaters, etc. Please bring your dress shoes for you outfit.
Please bring choices along with what you wear in.

Young women and girls should wear dresses that are appropriate for a funeral. I realize that not many little girls have black dresses, but please choose accordingly staying with darker colors if you have them. Nothing too bright or cheery or summery. Please bring the appropriate shoes for your dresses. Please bring choices along with what you wear in.

Remember, this is a military memorial service and all is very somber. I am sure that everyone will bring all the right things and I want to say thanks in advance for doing just that. We are looking forward to meeting all of you.
See you on the set!!

FRIDAY 8/12

Hello everyone,
I know you were told that the costume information for the funeral scene tomorrow would be up by 3:30.....

Well, I have been slammed today and I need a bit more time to get all the info together.

Thanks for your patience, and please check back again in a couple of hours. There will be specific info that I would like everyone to read.

Thanks so much!!
Costume Dept

THURSDAY 8/11

My apologies everyone!!!
I made a post last night for today, but apparently it did not take. I am sorry.

If you are working for Episode 105 in the CIA HEADQUARTERS please read the post for WEDNESDAY and follow the costuming instructions listed there for today, THURSDAY 8/11

For Episode 104:

FBI AGENTS will be playing "undercover" and therefore will be in street clothes. Everyone should bring plenty of options of jeans, cargos, khakis, med to dark solid color polo and long and short sleeve button front shirts, tees to layer underneath. Hoodies and light weight jackets under which you could hide a weapon. Long sleeve tees and pullover thermals and henleys.
Med to dark sneakers, work or hiking boots. Don't forget your belts. Please bring sunglasses.

NEIGHBORS should be wearing Spring season clothing. You should bring things with muted colors. Nothing too summery. We are not into shorts and tank tops just yet.
Pattern and texture are good, just nothing too busy or loud. Please avoid logos.
Don't forget the appropriate shoes that work with the clothing options that you are bringing.
Hats, caps and other outdoor accessories would be welcomed.

Again, my apologies for the last minute ordeal. I am not sure why the post last night did not take. See you on the set.

THURSDAY, 8/11

Hello Everyone.

We are shooting parts of two episodes tomorrow. I need for you to pay particular attention to what I'm putting down for the specific episodes because some of the categories are the same, but the costume requirements might be different.

We are still in Spring. So the appropriate seasonal clothing and colors apply. Nothing too bright or summery. Please avoid logos. Texture and pattern are good, just nothing too busy or overly bold.

EPISODE 104

CIA AGENTS are playing as undercover agents. You should bring several choices of casual street clothing to include solid medium to dark polo shirts, long and short sleeve button front shirts in med to dark colors, hoodies, pullover tees/thermals, dark basic jeans, khakis, cargo pants, boat shoes, work boots, med to dark colored basic sneakers without a lot of stuff on them,
light weight jackets that might hide a gun. Most of your clothing should be neutral or med to dark. Tan, grey, navy, black, dark green, etc. Please bring sunglasses with you.

BG w CAR should bring choices of street/casual clothing appropriate to the season to include jeans, khakis, cargos, skirts, long and short sleeve casual shirts and blouses, sweaters, hoodies, pullovers, sneakers or other casual shoes. You folks can bring more color to the table with your clothing as long as it is not too bright or busy.

EPISODE 105
You folks will be shooting on the stage in the CIA HEADQUARTERS so your look is more business/business casual. All of you should bring options of the following, regardless of the role that you are playing. We would like the option to mix it up from dressy to casual. Everyone should bring the following:
Business suits
shirts & ties/blouses
Casual long and short sleeve shirts and blouses
slacks, khakis, skirts and jeans,
sweaters, pullovers, and fashion jackets

WEDNESDAY, 8/10 CIA HEADQUARTERS

Hello All,
Welcome to all the new folks that are joining us, welcome back to those returning.

First a general note: Everyone should make sure, regardless of what role you are being told to play, that you bring a range of clothing from casual to dressy. It has been brought to our attention that too many folks look too dressed up, so we want to be able to mix it up a bit.

We are now in the Spring in our story. So short and long sleeves still work. Light weight jackets and sweaters still work. Nothing too wintery at this point.
Color palette is one of Spring with the colors being softer and more muted and neutrals like tan, grey, etc. Nothing too bright or summery. Nothing with too busy a pattern. Small patterns and textures are good.

Rather than go into all the categories, I will do a general listing that I would like everyone to follow so that we have the ability to mix it up.

Bring options of the following types of clothing:
Business suits
Sport coats/blazers
dress shirts and blouses that work with suits
casual button front shirts and blouses, long and short sleeve
ties and scarves, other accessories
vests
sweaters, both pullover and cardigan
khakis, slacks and skirts and jeans
hoodies and pullover casual shirts

Again, everyone please bring choices of everything listed above. This will help us get the look right. Thanks in advance for bring all the good stuff.
See you on the set!!

WEDNESDAY, 8/3 CIA HEADQUARTERS

Hello all. Back to the CIA!

We are moving up seasonally in our show. We are in Spring now. Still not in shorts and tank tops, but as trusted government officials, you wouldn't be wearing that anyway. :-)

Our palette should be one of the office/work place. Nothing too bright or summery as those clothes can be perceived as more casual at a glance. Muted colors and neutrals are the order of the day for the season.

We will be establishing two screen days so please bring plenty of options that we can make two different looks from. Please bring as much as you have, even if it is more than you know we will use. This helps us be able to spread colors and looks more evenly. Following find the specifics for the roles at the CIA. If you don't see a category listed then read them all and deduce what your role would be most like.

SR AGENTS/JR AGENTS should bring options of med to dark suits, also sport coats and slacks/skirts. Bring options of long sleeve button front shirts/blouses to be worn with jackets or without. Ties and scarves should not be too loud our busy, but can certainly have muted color. Don't forget your shoes and belts, handbags and jewelry to go with our outfit choices.

TECHS/COMPUTER GEEKS should bring options of slacks, khakis and jeans. Also bring long sleeve button front shirts, tie options and sport coats. On the other extreme, you should also bring things like polo shirts and hoodies and sweaters, layers that we can mix and match to get an interesting look. Don't forget your shoes and belts and other quirky accessories.

JR ANALYSTS/CLERICAL should bring a mix option of slacks/skirts and blazers, with ties and long sleeve button front shirts/blouses. Also long sleeve shirts that could be worn without a jacket. Sweaters, long sleeve pullover shirts and fashion jackets.

FBI AGENTS should bring options of dark suits, light colored shirts in white, cream, tan and light grey and dark ties. The ties should be as simple as possible without a great deal of eye-catching detail.

There you have it. We look forward to meeting you and working with you. Thanks in advance for bringing lots of good stuff. We'll see you on the set!!
