Tuesday 6/12 COLTON SCHOOL, CAR SCENE & ROSSLYN CLASSROOM

Hello everyone.  So glad that you'll be joining us tomorrow!  Following you will find the information about what clothing options you should bring for the days work.

Everyone should come dressed in a described option and bring others with you.  Bear in mind that it may be raining tomorrow.  You should bring shoes that you could change into when not on camera.  That will keep your picture shoes as dry as possible.  Also, if everyone could bring light rain coats that would suit your character descriptions, then they could be worn on camera, if it becomes necessary.

TEEN PREP SCHOOL KIDS for the Colton school should come dressed in your choice of a blue, white or yellow long sleeve button down shirt.  Boys should wear either well fitting tan khaki pants or well fitting navy blue pants.  Nothing too big and baggy, please.  Girls should wear either a tan khaki or navy blue, knee length skirt or tan or navy knee length walking shorts.  The following items should also come with you:

GUYS should all bring a navy blazer/sport coat & ties to wear with their uniform.  The school colors are blue, yellow and white.  Ties can be these colors, but they do not have to be.  Striped and plaid ties are especially good because they look young and preppy.  It is a "prep" school, after all :-)
Shoes can be closed toe loafers, bucks, boat shoes, lace up shoes, etc.  NO ATHLETIC SHOES OR SNEAKERS.  Remember, if you have a navy, tan or grey windbreaker or light rain coat, please bring it along as well.

GIRLS should all bring accessories that might make your uniform interesting and personal.  Navy cardigans, argyle sweaters and vests in the colors, navy hoodies, neck ties or ribbons for your blouse, socks that match the uniform and any other things in the school colors of blue, yellow and white that will spice up your uniform.  Your shoes can be closed toe loafers, bucks, flats, boat shoes, etc. NO ATHLETIC SHOES OR SNEAKERS.  Remember, if you have a navy, tan or grey windbreaker or light rain coat, please bring it along as well.

FROM THE PROPS DEPARTMENT FOR THE PREP SCHOOL KIDS:
Please bring your school bag to use as a prop.  It can be a backpack, satchel, book bag or whatever you carry your school books in.  This is a private school so the bags should not look be ratty or too worn.  Also, they cannot have large logos or artwork that is recognizable.  If you don't have a bag to bring, don't worry, they Props Dept will lend you one of theirs.

TEACHERS should all look as good and professional as the students described above.
Women should bring options of long sleeve dress blouses, cardigans and jackets, knee length skirts and shoes that will work with all your choices.  Think JCrew, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic.
Men should bring options of long sleeve dress shirts, ties, suits, sports coats and slacks or khakis.  Don't forget the shoes that will work with these clothes.
Both men and women should bring light weight rain coats/windbreakers/trench coats that will work with the options that you are bringing.

DRIVERS will be pulled from the above and we will choose a second look for this out of the options that you bring for the school.

COLLEGE STUDENTS will be pulled from the group above.  If you have been told that you will also be a college student please bring options of the following;
non-ripped jeans, sweatshirts and hoodies without logos, casual long and short sleeve pullover shirts, polo shirts, casual long and short sleeve button front shirts.  Casual shoes and sneakers.

ADULT NIGHT SCHOOL (ESL) STUDENTS should all bring traditional eastern clothing options, if you have them, and options that are more western/American.  The western clothing should be casual.  Non-ripped jeans, khakis and slacks and skirts, long and short sleeve casual shirts/blouses, light weight jackets and sweaters.  The director would like the class to be a mix of western and more traditional eastern clothing.  Don't forget the shoes to go with all your options.
FROM THE PROPS DEPARTMENT:  Please bring along a book bag to use as a prop.  It can be a backpack, satchel, large purse, briefcase--whatever you might carry your books in to class.  If you could bring some books in it to fill it up, that would be great.  Please do not bring anything with large logos or other recognizable artwork or images.  If you don't have a book bag, don't worry, the Props Dept will lend you one of theirs.

Thank you all in advance for bringing all the great stuff!  We will be happy to meet you and work with you....
See you on the Set!!
