CEMETERY / ADAMS MORGAN NEIGHBORHOOD / BANK OF THE ATLANTIC 7/9

Welcome to all.  I'm sure that many of you will have been with us before.  If you are new, please continue reading to find information and instructions for the things that we would like you to bring in your roles as Background Players.

Most everyone will have a change of clothing as we are shooting 2 screen days and multiple locations.  Please read carefully all of the categories that you have been selected to play and bring several options for each.

 You should always come dressed in your first, best choice of the look described.  This helps us with time in the mornings.We will be choosing all of your looks in the morning.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!  Please bring all of your options for the day with you when you check in in the morning.  You should always bring at least three options of the looks described.  The best thing is to come with lots of pieces that we can put together, rather than pre-decided outfits.  

We are shooting Spring.  Your choices should have both and long and short sleeve options.  They should also include light weight layers such as cardigans, light weight windbreakers, etc.

We would prefer the colors of Spring; softer, more muted colors, rather that the bright, bold colors of Summer.

CEMETERY

OLDER FEMALE VISITOR  should wear and bring options of dark colored, somber clothing.  This can be   slacks or skirts or a dress.  You are not at a funeral, but rather visiting a loved ones marker.  Nothing too dressy or fancy.  Please include layering items like sweaters, cardigans and light weight jackets.  With all the rain the ground may be very soft and messy.  Bring dark flats instead of heels for your shoe choices.
You will need other choices for playing ND BACKGROUND later in the day.  See that category for details.

FRANKLIN'S DRIVER  should wear and bring options dark suits, a white long sleeve dress shirt with a non-button down collar and a dark tie.  Please don't forget your black belt and dress shoes to work with your clothing.

ND BACKGROUND & BANK CUSTOMERS will either be casual clothing or Washington business type.  Please bring options of all of the following so that we can change you from one to the other as we change screen days.

Casual looks should include casual clothing to include non-ripped nice jeans, khakis, skirts, long and short sleeve casual shirts and tops, cardigan sweaters, light weight sweaters and light weight jackets. Pattern and texture is great, just nothing too busy or bold.

Business looks should include suits, sport coats/blazers, dress slacks/skirts, long sleeve dress shirts and blouses in lighter colors.  Ties may have have color, just nothing too bold or bright.  Jewelry should be conservative and understated.

Don't forget your shoes and belts and other accessories to work with your options.

BANK TELLERS & FEMALE BANK MANAGER should wear and bring suits, sport coats/blazers, dress slacks/skirts, long sleeve dress shirts and blouses in lighter colors.  Ties may have have color, just nothing too bold or bright.  Jewelry should be conservative and understated.

Don't forget your shoes and belts and other accessories to work with your options.

SECURITY GUARD  will be given a uniform by the Costume Department.  Please bring with you a short sleeve plain white undershirt, black socks and either solid black lace up shoes, solid black sneakers or solid black combat-style ankle boots.

NOTES FROM THE PROPS DEPARTMENT

For the ND BACKGROUND in exterior scenes please bring the things that the typical Casual and Business folks would carry.  Purses, backpacks, briefcases, umbrellas.

REMINDER:  We will shoot rain or shine so please bring an umbrella that is not to bright in color and a light weight rain coat.
