Hello everyone and welcome. We're glad that you'll be joining us. Following find the instructions and descriptions of the things that we would like you to bring for your Background player roles.
Everyone should come dressed in their first, best choice based on the descriptions below and bring your other options for us to look at and make the final decisions. Please bring all your clothing in with you when you check in. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!!!!!!
Many of you will be playing more than one role tomorrow. Please make sure that you read all the instructions and descriptions for all roles that you are playing. Bring several options for each role. I will try to indicate which will be first for you so that you know what to wear when you arrive.
SOCCER FANS This is a still surveillance photo taken in the owners box of a soccer team. We have made the team colors Red and Black. Since it is the owners box everyone should look a bit nicer than the fans in the stands. Please bring as much of the following that you may have in the colors of Red and Black and Athletic Gold (dark yellow), which is a secondary color.
polo shirts in solid colors or stripes in the team colors
long and short sleeve tee shirts in the solid colors or stripes in the team colors
long and short sleeve button front shirts in the team colors
V neck and crew neck pullover sweaters and rugby style shirts in the team colors
navy or dark sport coats and blazers
khaki style pants
nice, dark, non-ripped jeans
nice casual shoes to work with you clothing choices
YOU WILL ALSO BE BANDELEROS AND STADIUM EMPLOYEES LATER IN THE DAY. WEAR YOUR ITEMS FOR THE SOCCER FANS WHEN YOU COME AND BRING YOUR OTHER CHOICES WITH YOU.
JAVADI DOUBLE / CEDENO DOUBLE / CEDENO FRIENDS should all wear and bring options of business suits in medium to dark colors, navy blazers/dark sport coats, dress slacks, dress shoes and belts.
For your shirts please bring options of both light dress shirts as well as dark colored dress shirts and if you have a black dress shirt, bring that as well.
If you have a bright red tie / a red tie with black stripes or a black design / black tie with a red stripe or design, please bring those as well.
SECURITY GUARDS will be given a uniform by the Costume Dept. Please bring with you a plain, white undershirt, black socks and solid black lace up shoes, solid black sneakers or solid black ankle combat style boots, if you have them.
MALE AND FEMALE BANK TELLERS will be given a shirt/blouse by the Costume Dept.
-Men should wear plain black dress slacks, black belt and black shoes. Also bring a plain white or grey undershirt.
-Women should wear and bring options of plain black full length dress slacks (not Capri) and plain black business style skirts that come to around your knees. You should bring black shoes that are business appropriate. Nothing too high or flashy. Simple black pumps or black flats. You will be on a working set with lots of activity so your shoes should be closed toe and heel. This is for safety. Simple jewelry.
MALE BANK TELLERS WILL BECOME PASSERBY/ STREET BG LATER ON. WEAR YOUR PANTS FOR THE BANK TELLER AND BRING OPTIONS OF THE THINGS LISTED IN THE CATEGORY AT THE BOTTOM FOR YOUR OTHER ROLES.
MEN MOVING PALLETS should wear and bring a dark pair of Dickies style work pants or cargo pants. Also a pair of dark jeans. Dark work boots or dark sneakers for you feet. A dark leather belt. Also a plain white undershirt. You will be given a shirt by the Costume Dept.
STADIUM EMPLOYEES will be given a white coverall by the Costume Dept. You should bring with you a plain white or plain grey undershirt. You should also make sure to wear white or light colored underwear as dark underwear will show through the white coveralls. For your feet you should bring plain sneakers in white or black or work boots, and a pair of white socks.
BOSS / MALE MONEY COUNTER / FEMALE MONEY COUNTERS should all wear and bring options of business clothing.
-The BOSS should be in a dark suit. A colored long sleeve business shirt would be good. Something in tan, green, burgundy. If you do not have something like that then a plain white shirt would be fine too. Bring all options if you have them. Also please bring ties, dress shoes and belt to work with your clothing options.
The MALE & FEMALE MONEY COUNTERS should wear and bring options of business type clothing to include suits, sport coats/blazers, dress slacks/ skirts. Ties and other accessories. We are playing a Latin country so some color would be fine here. Dress shoes and belts to work with your clothing options. Female shoes should be closed toe and heel. This is for safety on the set.
BANDELEROS / TRUCK DRIVER / MALE PASSERSBY AND MALES ON BICYCLE
You guys are all supposed to look you're from the streets. Rough and tough. I am including some images below that are from the streets of Caracas, Venezuela. There's a lot of black denim, faded black denim, grey denim, stonewashed and acid wash denim, track jackets, graphic tees, polo shirts that are over sized, tank tops and tank top tees, ball caps, bandannas, sneakers, woven belts and woven shoes. I don't notice much jewelry or wallet chains or things like that. We should have some color here. but we should make sure that we mix in the blacks and greys so that it makes you look tougher. Make sure that you all bring as many options of things as you can so that we will have enough choices for all of you. Remember, some of you are also in the photo as Soccer Fans so you will need a different kind of clothing options for that and then your rough and tough clothes for these characters.
