There will be 2 Units shooting on Monday. One at the Sound Stage on Reames Rd, and one on location at the Duke Mansion. Unit 1 is EP 211 and will be shooting the CIA at the Stage. Unit 2 is EP 210 and will be shooting The Naval Observatory at the Duke Mansion. I have asked Tona to let you know if you are Stage Unit 211 or Stage Unit 210 so that you know which of the following info applies to you.
Everyone should wear their first best choice and bring other choices so that we can make a final decision. Please bring you clothes with you when you check in. DO NOT LEAVE YOU CLOTHES IN THE CAR!
GENERAL NOTE: The high for Monday 10/8 is only supposed to be 53 degrees. If you think that you will be chilly and need a comfort coat to keep yourself warm while off-camera, please bring it yourself. I also suggest bringing or wearing under layers such as silks or thermals to help keep you warm while on camera. The Costume Dept will be unable to provide you with under layers or comfort coats for your warmth. If you feel you need these things, you must bring them for yourselves.
STAGE UNIT 211
SENTRY will be given the suit and tie that you wore the last time you worked. Please bring everything else that you wore the last time. Shirt, shoes, belt and any jewelry or accessories.
CIA TECHS are the most casually dressed at the CIA. You should bring several options of the following:
Khakis/skirts/slacks
Long and short sleeve casual button front shirts/blouses
Long and short sleeve casual pullover shirts/blouses (no tees)
Pullover light weight sweaters and cardigans and sweater vests
Light weight jackets/windbreakers
Hoodies and zip front jackets
Don't forget your shoes to go with these options.
CIA JR & SR ANALYSTS are the mid range of dress at the CIA. You should bring several options of the following:
Sport coats/blazers
Khakis/skirts/slacks
Long and short sleeve casual and dress shirts/blouses
Polo shirts
Pullover light weight sweaters and cardigan style sweaters
Don't forget your shoes and other accessories to go with these options.
CIA SUITS are the highest level of dress at the CIA. You should bring several options of the following:
Medium to dark suits
Ties
Long sleeve dress shirts/blouses
Don't forget your dress shoes and belts to work with these options.
PHOTO DOUBLE # 24 should bring a pair of black dress shoes. Preferably non-lace if you have them. We will provide the rest of the costume.
MATCHING GUARD Miguel, you should bring the black suit, cream shirt and the tie that you wore the last time that you worked. We are matching that scene. Don't forget the shoes, belt and any other jewelry or accessories that you might have been wearing.
LOCATION UNIT 210
In addition to the descriptions listed below, everyone working on this unit should bring some choices of nice casual clothing for this time of the year. We will be doing a VP photo shoot and may want to use everyone for a shot where the VP is shaking hands at a public venue.
BRODY DRIVER & CIA DRIVERS should wear and bring a dark suit, (black, navy or dark grey) a white long sleeve dress shirt and a dark tie. You should also bring black dress shoes and belt for this change.
NAVY OFFICERS will be given a Naval BDU uniform by the Costume Dept. Please make sure to bring a pair of black socks.
MILITARY HOUSE STAFF will be given uniforms by the Costume Dept.. Please bring with you a white undershirt and a pair of black socks. Men, do not wear large, blousy boxer shorts as the uniform pants are a very straight cut. You should wear or bring briefs or boxer briefs.
ISRAELI AMBASSADOR & ISRAELI SECRET SERVICE should wear and bring dark suits. Also bring several choices of dress shirts and ties to be worn with your suits. Please bring light colored dress shirts but also darker shirts and ties and shirts and ties with color. If you bring both we will have the option of making a visual distinction between the two groups by having you in ties and shirts that have some color and a flavor of the middle east. Don't forget your dark dress shoes and belts.
VP SECRET SERVICE should wear and bring a dark suit, white long sleeve dress shirt and dark ties. Black dress shoes and belts.
MILITARY BRASS will either be wearing their own uniforms or be given a uniform by the Costume Dept. Either way, please bring a white undershirt and a pair of black socks.
DIPLOMATS / SENATORS / LOBBYISTS whether male or female, everyone should wear and bring choices of dark business suits/attire. Light colored dress shirts and blouses and conservative ties. Women's jewelry should be simple and tasteful and conservative. Some of you will be used in photos as well as the scene so bring enough item that we could make a small change if we need to for a photo.
MAID will be given a uniform by the Costume Dept. Please bring a pair of hose with you, should we need them.
SOCIETY LADIES should wear and bring several choices of conservative, political looking clothing to include suits, dresses, jackets, sweater sets, etc. We may need to use you in a couple of different changes so please bring enough options for us to make a change. Jewelry should be tasteful and conservative. Please bring bags and shoes to work with your options.
Again, everyone in LOCATIONS UNIT 210 should bring a choice of nice casual, everyday clothing for a photo later in the day.
