Thursday 11/1 MUMBAI RED CROSS HQ

Hello and welcome.  We are glad that you will be joining us tomorrow.  Following you will find instructions for the kinds of clothes that we would like for you to bring with you when you come to be a Background player on Thursday, 11/1

Please read the descriptions below and bring as many options of these items as you can.  We will make our choices of what everyone is to wear when you come to set tomorrow.  Please bring all of your clothing choices with you when you come to check in.  Do not leave your clothes in the car.

The scene is a work environment in Mumbai.  The director would like to see some of you in traditional dress and some of you in western dress.  I would like everyone to bring both traditional clothing and western dress so that we can make the best choices in the morning.

MEN AND WOMEN  should all bring choices of traditional clothing and choices of western clothing to include:
 casual shirts and blouses
 casual pants and skirts
shoes that will work with your clothing choices

Wednesday 10/31 BRODY HOUSE

Hello and welcome.  Following you will find the information that you need for your role as a Background Player on Wednesday, 10/31.

Everyone should come dressed in your first, best option based on the descriptions below.  Please bring your clothing in with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!

FBI AGENTS Returning from 10/26  should bring exactly the same thing that you wore when you worked last Friday, 10/26.  This is an exact match to the scenes that you were in on that day.  If you were given clothing by the Costume Dept, you will recieve the same items.

FBI AGENTS  should bring and wear choices of dark suits (black, navy, dark grey) and light colored dress shirts in white, cream, tan, light grey.  Also dark ties with only subtle pattern.  Don't forget your black dress shoes and belts.

FBI AGENTS will also become CAMERAMEN/PHOTOGRAPHERS later in the day.  Please read the following descriptions and bring options of the things that you find listed there.

NEWS CAMERAMAN/ PHOTOGRAPHERS/  SOUND MEN  should wear and bring a mix of dark clothing to include non-ripped dark jeans, dark cargo pants, dark slacks, dark long and short sleeve pull over shirts, dark long and short sleeve button front shirts, dark hoodies, dark vests and light weight jackets and dark sport coats.  These could be black, grey, navy, dark brown, etc.  This is a layered, more casual look.  Don't forget the dark shoes and belts to go with your options.

REPORTERS should bring and wear options to include suits, sport coats/slacks and skirts, nice long sleeve button front shirts/blouses, polos, light weight jackets and windbreakers, khakis/slacks/skirts, trench coats.  Don't forget your dress and casual shoes to work with your clothing options.

The CAMERAMEN/PHOTOGRAPHERS/SOUND MEN AND REPORTERS will be shooting outside the Brody House.  You should do what you need to stay warm.  The easiest is to wear thermal or silk underwear and warm, thick socks or hose if you are a woman.  You may bring coats to stay warm while off camera, but if it doesn't work with your costume look you will have to take it off while shooting.  If you think that you will need things to stay warm while shooting you must bring them for yourselves.  The Costume Dept will not be providing warming clothes.

Tuesday 10/30 D C BAR / ESTES' HOUSE

Hello and welcome everyone.  Following you will find the things that you need to bring for your role as a Background Player for Tuesday, 10/30.

Everyone should come dressed in your first best choice based on the descriptions below.  Please bring your clothing options in with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!!

BARTENDERS AND WAITRESSES should wear and bring choices of: 
dark, non-ripped nice jeans
plain, solid black tee shirts with no writing or logos.  Both long and short sleeve
plain, solid black polo shirts with no obvious logos
plain black long sleeve button front shirts/blouses
black sneakers or other types of black casual shoes with closed toe.
black socks
black belts

BAR PATRONS & BAR PATRONS W/ CARS should wear and bring several options of:
long sleeve casual button front shirts/blouses
long sleeve casual pullover shirts/blouse
long and short sleeve tees with no artwork or logos
light weight jackets/cardigans and other sweaters/hoodies
nice, non-ripped jeans
khakis/cargo pants/skirts
casual shoes that will work with your clothing choices
caps with no logos would make good options if you have them
Women, bring a handbag that will work with your clothing options

The bar is a casual hangout.  We are playing this as Fall and our actors will be in Fall clothing so please bring choices of the above clothing so that we can layer everyone up and get that Fall look.

QUINN'S 4 YEAR OLD SON should wear and bring several options of the following:
Note:  The clothing cannot have any recognizable logos or artwork.  For example: no Disney or Sponge Bob, etc
long and short sleeve shirts
long pants/jeans/cords
sweaters/jackets/hoodies
shoes and socks for the clothing options
Also, please bring some PJ's or other sleeping clothing, also without any logos or artwork.
These clothes should be casual, around the house clothes, and shouldn't be too put together.  Just bring lots of options and we will put it all together.

Monday 10/29 CIA MEMORIAL SERVICE

Hello and welcome.  Following you will find the information that you need in your role as a Background Player on Monday, 10/29

Everyone should read carefully all instructions and categories that apply to you.

Everyone should come dressed in their first, best choice based on the descriptions below and bring your other options for us to look at and make the final decisions.  Please bring all your clothing in with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!!!!!!

The scene we are shooting is a Memorial service.  The director was emphatic that this is not a funeral, saying that there are differences in the way people would dress for a funeral and for a memorial service.  The distinctions, if any, are not clear to me.  Therefore, to give the director what he wants, not knowing exactly what that is, I am going to ask for some pretty specific options from everyone.  These are things that you all probably have, I just need to have these options come with you on the day.

SECRET SERVICE / CIA SECURITY GUARDS  should wear and bring choices of dark suits (black, dark grey and navy), long sleeve white dress shirts and dark ties.  Ties can have some pattern and design, just nothing too bold or striking.  These ties should be quiet..  Don't forget your black dress shoes and belt to go with your suits.

MILITARY BRASS  will be given the uniforms that you were fit in on Friday.  You should bring with you a plain white undershirt and a black pair of socks, if you are male.  You should bring a pair of nude hose, if you are female

CYNTHIA WALDEN'S FRIENDS & FEMALE MEMORIAL GUESTS should wear and bring upscale, dark clothing.  Dresses, two piece skirt suits and pant suits, pashminas and wraps, jackets and cardigans that could work with your dresses.  We do not want everyone in all black.  Please bring black and things other than black.  Navy, dark grey and other dark colors that are appropriately somber would be great options to bring.  Blouses for your suits I am going to be more specific about.  You should bring a white or cream colored option and an option in a soft color like pale blue, pink, etc.  Also please bring an option that has some small detail or pattern, like a stripe or subtle graphic.  Shoes should be conservative and appropriate for the occasion.  Jewelry should also be conservative.  This is a Washington D C Memorial service and you are the Society women, Senators and other special D C ladies.  The look is conservative and traditional.  Think St John, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, etc.

MALE MEMORIAL GUESTS should wear and bring choices of a dark suit in black, navy, dark grey, etc.  I need for everyone to specifically bring the following for your shirt options.  A white or cream colored choice, a choice in a pale color like light blue, pink, tan, etc, and an option that has a stripe or subtle check.  For your ties choices we would like to see ties that have some appropriate color like burgundy, greens, blues (nothing too bright), and some darker ties like black, navy, grey, etc.  We are wanting everyone to be able to look more somber if necessary or a bit more colorful if necessary.  This will keep us from having everyone look exactly alike.  Don't forget your dark dress shoes and belt to work with your options.  Remember, this is a Memorial service in Washington D C and you men are the Senators and Congressmen, Lobbyists and other movers and shakers.  The look is conservative and traditional.  Think Brooks Bros.

CIA ANALYSTS / SUITS / TECHS should be dressed for the Memorial service and not in the more casual clothing that we normally do in the CIA.  We are saying that anyone in the building would be planning on attending the service, thus dressed appropriately.  If it becomes necessary to have you change your clothing, the options that you bring from the descriptions above will allow us to make a change while having the right look.

Friday 10/26 FBI / CIA ANALYSTS

Hello and welcome.  Following you will find the information that you need for your role as a Background Player on Friday, 10/26

Everyone should come dressed in your first, best option based on the descriptions below.  Please bring your clothing in with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!

FBI AGENTS  should bring and wear choices of dark suits (black, navy, dark grey) and light colored dress shirts in white, cream, tan, light grey.  Also dark ties with only subtle pattern.  Don't forget your black dress shoes and belts.

CIA JR & SR ANALYSTS should wear and bring options of the following.  It is a wide range of things.  The reason for this is because we might need everyone to look as if they are dressed nicely to go to a Memorial Service, or the look might be more casual.  Please bring both so that we can go either way.  Thanks.

Thursday 10/25 RURAL ROADS

Hello and welcome.  Following you will find the information for what you need to bring in your role as a Background Player on Thursday, 10/25.

Please bring your clothes with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE CAR!!

BG WITH CARS  should all wear and bring choices to include the following:
casual long sleeve shirts and blouses, both button front and pullover
casual pants and skirts to include nice, non-ripped jeans, khakis, cargo pants and skirts
sweaters, cardigans, vests
light weight jackets
casual shoes to work with your outfit choices

This is casual and our principles will be dressed casually, and will probably have on layers and possibly jackets.  We are playing this as the current season, Fall, so please do include long sleeved items and the light weight jackets/sweaters asked for to give us that cooler weather look.  And please bring items that have a Fall palette in color.

Monday 10/22 CIA

Hello and welcome.  Following you will find the information for what you need to bring for your Background roles on Monday, 10/22.

You should wear their first best choice and bring other choices so that we can make a final decision.  Please bring you clothes with you when you check in.  DO NOT LEAVE YOU CLOTHES IN THE CAR!

SECRETARY  should wear and bring choices of dark business suits.  Either pant or skirt suits or both.  Lighter colored long sleeve dress blouses, shells and dressy tops to work with your suits.  Don't forget the shoes that work with your choices.  Jewelry should be simple and understated, but please bring a selection.
